10 days in Nicaragua

After all day Sunday on planes we are tired but come home with great memories and new ways God is challenging each of us to seek and glorify Him. We are so grateful for such a great team -- willing to work, to laugh, to cry, to share and to hear God's voice. We are amazed at the work God is doing in Nica and in each of our lives and are resolved to seek God more and more.

Words are not sufficient to tell you our experiences. We saw two, very different sides, of an amazing country. It is amazing how God is working in people's lives in Nica despite the poverty and struggles. We love these people's stories, these people who are connected to us, across land and ocean, by our united love for Christ. We are all sinners, saved by the grace of God, and we all struggle in the same ways. These people are our people and despite language barriers and culture differences we love that we will see these people surrounding the throne of God together with us, singing praises to the almighty God. What a great future!

We break for those who don't know God's power to bring joy and peace into the darkness they live in. Pray for those who don't know Christ's healing and for those who continue to work to shine light into the darkness -- Forward Edge, Pastor Earl, John, Verbo church, Susie, Jeff and Chris, Wilbert and Gloria and so many others
